DO NOT TRY THIS PLACE !!!
This is the most unpleasant B&B I've been in during my holidays in Galway. First we were welcomed with no smile, she was weird. Then the room was smeely, and even more during the night ! We had to sleep with the window wide opened and it was freezing in the room. We refused any breakfast, we were too disapointed and left quickly. We have found an other B&B in the same road which was much much better.

Have many B&Bs have you booked into and were greeted with a pot of tea and biscuits? Only Geraldine the wonderful hostess could provide such a great start to a long weekend in Galway. 6 of us stayed as we were at a wedding locally. I was in crutches after a recent accident and Gearldine insisted on driving me to the wedding reception, she is a gem! The breakfast was tasty and ample. The rooms were clean, the beds were confortable and there was no rush to check out. Enjoy your stay, I know we did and are looking forward to staying there again.

From the warm greeting upon arrival by both Geraldine and Katie until the last breakfast before departure, I felt incredibly at home. Breakfasts were excellent... Geraldine makes the BEST oatmeal! Asgard House is a short walk to Eyre Square, shopping, bus and train station, a real plus for someone using buses and trains to get around. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. I would return in a heartbeat.

my husband and i spent two nights at this guest house. geraldine goes out her way to make your stay very comfortable. every evening after a day of sightseeing and fun we found delicious treats of fruits and chocolates in our room. she serves breakfast in a sunny, comfortable room with a view to her garden. the rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet.

We had a great stay. The hotel is lovely, 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The room was comfortable and breakfast was lovely. Geraldine was fantastic.
