We were made to feel very Levine. Russell met us at the door and he and Emer were there to help us with every detail of our stay. My one issue was that there was a little mold on the ceiling in our bathroom, which caused both if my mild-sensitive companions to have some significant allergy issues while we were there. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We booked The Stop before we left the US having tried 2 or 3 other places and found them fully booked. Our room (#11) was on the third floor which was OK but was also on the front of the house and there was significant traffic noise. If you decide to stay here I would specifically ask for a room at the back. Our room was comfortable but sparsely furnished (think Scandinavian) but the bed was comfortable after an overnight flight.
Parking was tight but very secure and gave good access to the house. Our hosts were charming and had plenty of local knowledge to share and did so willingly. It is a short walk in to town and if you need to shop there is a good sized supermarket across the street. So The Stop met our needs well after an overnight flight.

We stayed two nights at the stop b&b - really liked the decor, lots of framed posters from various cultural events and a very modern feel to the place. Russel and Emer made us feel very much at home and the common room meant that you could chill out with a cup of tea when you felt like it! Our room was slightly plain but I know from their blog that the rooms are gradually getting a facelift so I'm sure they'll add a hint of colour soon - we did catch a glimpse of some of the others and they were lovely! In any case, we'll definitely return and would recommend this spot to young couples in particular!

Room Tip: We were at the top of the house and were not bothered by any noise that way.

The Stop B&B was our first B&B experience and it certainly did not disappoint. We were a little concerned about staying at a B&B with 2 young children, however, Russ and the staff were extremely hospitable. From the moment we arrived Russ made us and the children feel at home.

The common room was a cosy area where the boys could play (there were toys available) and we could enjoy a relaxed coffee.

This B&B was PERFECTLY located - only a very short walk to town - another bonus with a 3 year old.

Yes, you have to understand what it is you are signing on for. The room and bathroom are small, and since staying in more B&B since, think that this is typical of B&B style accommodation.

The Stop B&B is great value for money and the service and warmth is worth the $$$$ alone.

Kilkullen House is a cheerful place quite close to the city centre. The owners Russell and Emer are really really friendly and make you feel at home. Our breakfast was excellent and the common room is a nice place to drink tea and relax. The only thing that didn't satisfay us completely was our room that we thought too simply furnished. I think something could be done to make it more comfortable, starting from the bed. I recommand this B&B especially to young people!

We spent two nights at "the stop b&b" and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Russell and Emer are not only two great hosts but also very friendly, caring and generous people. They helped us with the organisation of our daytrip to the Aran Islands (btw: don't miss this wonderful location) and gave us great tips about restaurants and things to do/to see in Galway. The room was cosy and very clean, the breakfast menu was absolutely fabulous and the house is very good located - you can reach the center of the town in less than 5 minutes walking. We will definitely recommend "the stop" to our friends and to the whole tripadvisor-community! Vic&Gio

This B&B was wonderful, especially if you're looking for something a little more progressive! We were greeted with a very warm welcome and a reserved parking spot. The decor was very modern and very comfortable. The owner was very willing to talk us through the surrounding area and recommend places to eat and go out.

The room and bathroom were quite small, but plenty of room for us for the night. It was located within walking distance of the main part of town (about a 10 min walk). We had no trouble coming and going and it wasn't noisy at all during the night. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. They offered many fresh and organic options and the owners were very friendly and attentive. Great stay!
