We just stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. Overall it was a very nice stay. We booked an executive room which was very spacious. We were on the first floor (room no 124), our view was terrible, looking straight out onto a roof. By the looks of the floor layout of the hotel, I think that all executive rooms have a bad view as they are all on top of each other. The view didn't bother us though. The only fault of the room was from my fiancé as the hair dryer broke (seemed to overheat). Not the end of the world!!!.
The location is good- 15 mins walk to eyres square. We walked it once, it was fine! Other times we just got a taxi. Taxis always seemed to be outside the hotel and cost 7-8 euro into town.
The breakfast was the best thing about our stay, I was lovely. Well done to the chef, both mornings was the same, with all items within the buffet cooked perfectly.
Will definitely return to this hotel on my next trip to galway.
