We got a twin room no. 133 and first reaction was it was a great location for the Galway International Rlly as our room overlooked motorpark.ie where scrutiny was held and also the hotel was a short distance from eyre square. However the room was cold and we soon found the cause of it. The window was broken and would not seal shut so there was a major draught. We did not complain as we did not want to be a nuisance to the lovely girls at reception. The air conditioning was extremely loud also. We asked for a twin room and got two doubles bed which was impressive. There is a petrol station and small shop next to hotel which is handy.
The breakfast was lovely however the staff weren't very attentive at that time and forgot to ask us whether we would like tea or coffee until we were nearly finished and about to leave. I doubt that happens often at this hotel however as the staff were very friendly.
