Great place for eating in Galway city centre. Lots of varied eateries close together with menus displayed outside so nothing is a surprise on your bill! Lively, friendly atmosphere with music in many of the establishments

“Must See”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013

This is a charming area to walk through and see various stores and restaurants. You will be sure to find someplace appealing to settle down and enjoy a meal. A lot of places have outdoor seating, which is nice considering the charming scenery.

“Lively and fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

We went to Quay Street at about 7.30 on Friday night. There were a lot of people and the atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxed.

There were buskers, jugglers, and entertainers alike. This is definitely an experience you have to have if you go to Galway.

“It's Galway”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 16, 2013

Had a great time roaming around. Lower street has food, upper has more bars and late night. To guarantee a wheelchair accessible toilet visit the Galway city museum, across rom the Spanish Arch. Check for hours, but it's free access! And eat at Ard Bia across the street (I didn't get a chance).
