Stayed here for a stag weekend and it served it's purpose. Rooms are comfortable if a little on the warm side at night..we slept with window open. Room was right opposite the night club so if you were trying to sleep forget about it..luckily it was a stag weekend so we were fine!
Breakfast was excellent. Great choice of cerals bread juice HUGE fry up or just have the lot!! Waiter at breakfast very friendly and attentive...as were all the staff in fairness. Definitely the staff at the hotel do a great job +1 to them all.
Ok no parking on site which could peeve some people off but the carpark is only a 3 minute walk away, not a huge inconvience €10 a day charge.
Overall the hotel is a good one...ok it's no Ritz Carlton but what you get is adequate. I wouldn't be so sure of staying at a weekend if you weren't on a stag/hen weekend just as the hotel can be pretty noisy...but perhaps there are rooms that are quiet somewhere in the hotel (we were 104)
Can't fault the location either...slap bang in the middle of Eyre Square
Overall rate it average to very good, probably closer to very goodMore
