We had two rooms: one on the street and one in the back. Yes, you hear the street noise, but that is perfectly fine...you are on the street in the middle of everything in Galway! In the back we could hear the Americians singing for the Fourth of July. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have a quirks that come with an older, not rubber stamped establishment. The staff is lovely and helpful.
Parking in the garage next to the hotel cost 20 EURO a night with unlimited ins and outs. Not bad for convenience. Space is tight, though.
The resturant is excellent. We enjoyed dinner and trad music one evening and enjoyed a few Guiness in the little side bar. We totally loved our stay.
