“Excellent food , quaint atmosphere ”

We drove to Galway to eat at this restaurant and were not disappointed. The soup was fabulous. I had the risotto which was creamy and well seasoned. My wife had muscles and could not finish them because of the size. The service was excellent and I highly recommend this restaurant.

“Quay Street Kitchen”
Reviewed June 5, 2014

The food was amazing and plenty of it!! We shared a goat cheese salad that could easily be an entree! I had braised lamb shank, it was fall off the bone tender and delishous sauce! I forget what my husband had as I was so busy with my food! Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Strongly recommend this restaurant!

I reckon the theme here is great, simple food made fresh, well presented and sensibly priced. Really good service adds to the experience. Strongly recommended.

“Good food”
Reviewed June 2, 2014

A good place for lunch or an evening meal, with tables outside for those determined to enjoy the fresh air (you can ask for a hot water bottle if it gets too nippy). The food was good and the service was reasonably fast and attentive. We really enjoyed the soup of the day.
