This is a great spot for lunch or dinner in the pedestrian old town area. Usually these areas have mediocre, over priced restaurants. This small gem offers very good food, fairly priced.

Had a lovely quick dinner here while passing through Galway. Yummy food, fast and friendly service. Didn't have time for dessert but we'll definitely be back.

We went to the Quay side after looking at all the menus of the many restaurants in the area and we were not disappointed. Both my meal, the vegetarian special, and my husbands, a roast. were excellent. Service was good and the atmosphere interesting - we sat indoors on the downstairs level, since had just stopped raining and the outdoor seating was wet. Very cozy.

Lovely small restaurant with great food. Small wine list with a nice selection of reasonable priced wines. Portions for their starters could be scaled back but that would be a big plus for most diners. We started with a vegetable soup and seafood chowder, both excellent though we had to send half of it back as we would never be able to eat our mains. The crispy pan fried salmon and veggie curry were well prepared and flavorful. Somehow we found room to share a taste of the rhubarb crumble before we staggered back out to try to walk off some dinner. Service was friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Galway.

Great food and service. We went twice in a week and both occasions received good tasty food served quickly and efficiently. The set menu for a tad under 20 euros offers a good selection of starters and main courses and includes a glass of wine and coffee. The chowder and Irish stew are worth a particular mention. Highly recommended.
