“What a disappointment”
Reviewed February 8, 2013

Had heard some good things about this restaurant . We went for the early evening meal as we were going to the theatre .The menu was very limited we choose lamb from the main menu and chicken from the early menu both had an unusual smell and the lamb had a side salad that was 99% lettuce the lamb was stringy and the skin on the chicken was greasy. The taste was below average and a total disappointment, the staff were excellent and very polite.
I will not be returning for another meal

“The best steak and seafood I've found in Galway.”
Reviewed February 6, 2013 via mobile

I love this place and keep going back. The food and service are high quality. Very good for business meals and even better to enjoy personally. The menu is fantastic and varied. The wine list is great too and desserts are superb. I think this is the first time I've given 5 stars to something on Trip Advisor but this place genuinely deserves it. Can't wait to get back whether its for lunch, dinner or just to drop in for a brink at the bar.

“Fab Food, Fab Atmosphere”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

The food here is fabulous and all locally sourced. The menu is varied something to suit all tastes with great veggie options, although if you are a meat eater like myself you cannot beat the fillet steak, one of the best I've eaten.
There is also a great selection on the wine list, and the staff are very knowledgeable about the wines they have and are happy to take the time to explain the various wines.
Atmosphere is great, one of the highlights of The Brasserie is the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly, efficient staff.
