“Nice ferry ride”

with Go Ahead Tours as an optional tour, and I would recommend the ferry operators, the boat was large, warm, and comfortable.

“Ride to Aran Islands”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

Took the morning ferry on a fairly calm day out to Aran Island and back at 4:30 pm.. Fast, efficient, clean, nice staff.

Ferry leaves promptly! Nice, pleasant ride (but we had a calm day). Well worth a trip out to the main island. It's an hour ride.

“Amazing trip”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

We loved our trip to Inis Meain, and frankly I was a little worried, it being the day after a big storm blew in from England. The crew was lovely and helped us with luggage and in and out...no problems at all....a great ride over and back.

“Only for passengers”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Was surprised it was more like airplane seating with just a tiny place for an outside deck to sbe in the fresh air. It was after the busy season and I think almost every seat was full. Not much of a snack bar either so probably make sure you have had your meal before arriving. It does get you over to the the biggest of the Aran Islands in 45 minutes, and there is a very nice new terminal on the Aran side.

“Very simple way to get from Galway to Islands”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Shuttle from Galway to the ferry was cheap and well-timed. Comfortable, though the seats were quite small. The ferry ride was comfortable as well with coffee and food available. The only complaint would be that the bus driver accepted on board payment, so the bus was too full and some people had to stand for the 45 minute ride. Please, book in advance!!!
