My boyfriend and I go there all the time and we love it. Best sushi I have ever had! Honestly. He always gets the tune maki rolls and I love the California rolls. The miso soup is also so amazing! Id have bowls of it. I love this place so much and go Id say at least once a month.

This restaurant should please even the most discerning Japanese food connoisseur. After living in what is arguably the sushi capital of North America, Vancouver, BC for 9 years and also visiting Japan we can definitely approve of the quality of sushi at RAW. Make sure to try the tuna tataki. Enjoy!

Very friendly staff, helped us with our choices and explained everything to us as sushi newbies this was very helpful. My self and my dinner partner both went for the €35 menu .. Consisting of choice of starter, miso soup, choice of main and dessert with a free bottle of hot saki
Everything was perfect, I can't fault it, it ticked all the right boxes and made for a very enjoyable evening

We meant to come here for a while now, but since it's not a place you see when passing it's kind of a case of 'out of sight, out of mind'.
The atmosphere of the place is very nice, and it's a perfect location for a romantic dinner, as it has a great view over Loch an tSáile.

Our first concern, arriving late was the Radisson Hotel's parking, on which a sign said any parking after 5pm would be charged at overnight rate of €11. We really didn't want this charge on top of our meal, but the waiter said to bring the receipt for the meal to reception on leaving and they would stamp it for free parking! Brilliant!

They gave us a little bottle of free Sake on arrival as well. Our food was excellent, in presentation and taste. In fact it was so nice, that we ordered more after finishing our first order!

We can't fault the service either. We will definitely be returning here.
Don't let the fact that it's out of sight put you off!

Service is excellent. True to Japanese culture and tradition. Food is excellent and the staff are knowledgeable. Ambience is ideal for a romantic evening out and the views of the south east of Galway at night are remarkable. Loved the Onagi and Cho toro. will be back sometime in the future.
