“Great Italian”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2012

Love this place - have eaten here twice - the guy who owns it is cool and calm and nothing is a problem. Knows his wine and recommended great wine both times. Lots of tasty bites and sharing platters with dishes of the day - maybe four on memory also catering for vegetarians. The atmosphere and music is what sets this place apart. Last orders are late - maybe 12.... Visit - you won't be disappointed.

“Go on, treat yourself......”

Booked this restaurant for a Sunday evening of a bank holiday weekend. Booking was advised as the restaurant is quite small, very intimate or great for a group of people. You can have anything from a coffee to nibbles to a full meal. We had some gorgeous olives and bread while waiting for a third person. Excellent wine selection. Slow roasted Spanish Sausage pasta with a herb crust - my mouth was watering waiting for and then tasting the food - it was the best in terms of flavour and texture that I had in a log time. My friends had the roast tomato Risotto - equally as good. Lovely music playing and the staff are relaxed and casual.... but very informative. The other dished on the menu (which a table beside us had) looked fantastic, we even started chatting to the next table about what they had!! Food and wine priced reasonably, our bill with 2 bottles of 24 euro wine and desert came to 109 for three people.

“Excellent Coffee”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2012

I love good coffee and this lovely little restaurant makes it just the way I like it. Nice ambience. Outside tables offer an alternative on a sunny day. Miles Davis on the sound system. Baked good look good and the food appears to be honest and quite Italian. People seem to like to linger over a bottle of wine on Saturday afternoons there. Lucky for some!
