Revive Cafe is a hidden gem on Eyre Street in Galway. While it is not immediately obvious - no tables and chairs outside on the street - it is has the most delicious food and it is consistently delicious. I have eaten here perhaps 2 or 3 times a week over the past 3 months and I have never been disappointed. Now that is saying something in my books. There is huge variety available in the daily main course and soup 'specials' as well as the usual menu board selection. One of my favourites are the homemade scones which are displayed on the counter - sometimes still hot and still in the baking tray! How much fresher can you get! These scones are big and full of fruit and seeds. The muffins are also baked in house. The dessert/cakes counter is under glass and the selections just gets better and better. Moist carrotcake, creamy chocolate fudge cake, apple pies with generous filling are just a small sample of the treats that await in Revive. The house salads are huge. In fact generous portions all round with all main courses usually priced under €9. It would be quite possible to 'share' a main course sandwich and still have your sufficiency! Table service is provided & the staff are always friendly, pleasant and efficient. There are jugs of water with lots of lemon and ice where one can help oneself. I cannot recommend Revive highly enough. Be sure to visit next time you are in Galway.
