A really gorgeous beach with plenty of restaurants nearby and of course, the funfair. The promenade is great for a walk and the view is stunning

“Beautiful scenery”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

I stayed just up the street from the beach so I walked the prom every day. I didn't swim, but did see many doing so from a diving platform. The beach itself is beautiful - not large, but a nice place to walk and see Galway Bay which is restful and beautiful. Worth a walk!
