“Very Pretty”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

Christmas Markets were set up in Eyre Square when we were there at the weekend. They looked really pretty with the light and all the food and craft stalls. Nice place to visit..

“Active life on the square”
Reviewed November 25, 2012

I liled that so many shops surrounded the square (ones you'd ACTUALLY buy soomething in). Not too boutique-ish. Bad: It could use some cleaning up. Lots of people means some debris.

“Lovely space to people-watch, relax”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

Eyre Square was lovely - and small. I'd expected something much larger, but even as a small space, it's lovely. Set on a bit of an incline, it's adjacent to much of Galway's key shopping and dining spots.

“Neat!”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

Eyre Square had everything a traveler could ever need. The bus station, an internet cafe which for a fee allows one to leave bags to retrieve later in the day - BRILLIANT! Pubs, shops, dining...the Browne Arch was interesting also and I enjoyed the sculptures in the park. It appeared to be a wonderful meeting spot for the locals and the travelers of all ages.

“Nice place to chill out, don't miss the free walking tour!”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

Green, clean, central. Nice to hang out a little. Also, the free walking tour around Galway starts here every day at 12:30pm. Don't miss it when you visit Galway, it's really worth it!
