The Galway Cathedral was very beautiful and impressive! They had a cute little shop where you could buy crosses, postcards and other souvenirs.

“Interesting history”
Reviewed April 25, 2014 via mobile

Unless you are Catholic, there is not much to say about this other than the history behind the church and it's beginnings are interesting. The mosaics in the little room (where they are showing a video of the pope visiting Galway) show how revered JFK was. Seems he visited Galway 3 months before his assassination, and the people of this church were so moved, they placed him to the right of Jesus.
