Arriving in Galway with no pre reserved accomodation, we booked Adare sight unseen through the local tourist office. The criteria for staying more than one night were simple. Was the bed comfortable? And was the food good? We booked a second night after sleeping well, and a breakfast second to none in our six weeks of travelling. Our host was gracious, polite, and helpful. The Guesthouse is easy walking distance from Galway town centre, and guests can come and go easily at any time. Parking wasn't too bad, off the main road, which helps. Would not hesitate to use again.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms were quiet, but i imagine most rooms in the house would be of an equally high standard.

Stayed for 3 nights during the Galway races. Room was very spacious and spotless, two bottles of water and kit kat bars in the room on arrival was a lovely touch. Tea making facilities in the corridor. Free parking outside the door. A few minutes walk too Galways main streets. Breakfast was delicious, one of the best i've had in a b&b. Hosts were extremely friendly.

Would have no hesitation staying here again or recommending it too friends and family.

Great location, bedroom very clean and comfortable......bathroom had some tile/shower mold. Breakfast was excellent, service prompt and cheerful. Proximity to the downtown was excellent. Would recommend.

Great location, very clean. The pictures really don't do it justice. Four of us stayed 3 nights in two rooms. The beds were comfortable and the linens were top quality. The hostess and her crew are so friendly and helpful. I'm so glad were able to get rooms. She was fully booked when we stayed. Breakfast was very good. The garden was bursting with color. Ozzie, the dog was addition.

Our first B&B in Ireland was the Adare Guest House. They were able to accommodate our family group of six in three rooms easily. The location was very convenient for walking downtown. There was Wi-Fi so we could stay connected to family back home in the USA. The home was very lovely and inviting for visitors; the breakfast choice and quality was outstanding; the garden area was beautiful; and the family was not only charming but completely helpful in providing information that helped navigate us around the city. Pat and his wife were just so friendly and welcoming. It was like being adopted as part of the family.
