Beautiful place, friendly staff, great food and value, we loved the desserts but barely had room left, so be advised save room! Definitely will be back more often. Great with the kids too as they have colouring competitions and service very quick for kids etc...

We really enjoyed our visit to the Galleon and were very happy that we decided to visit, the staff were all really nice, the food was tasty and the bill was great value. We loved the Chowder and the Steak as previous reviews have recommended too ... highly recommend a visit and also try the Calamari! Yum yum yummy.... we'll be back again soon

we came here on a sunday just because we were in the area. there was a bit of a waiting time but it was worth it. place was packed now, there were a number of people before us, about 4 tables and we waited about 20mins before we got an empty table. but durning our wait we had the menus handed to us so when we sat down they were able to take our order straight away. never have i been in a place with such fast service and the waitress' were lovely. food was good and worth it. would recommend to anyone and well priced and you can even avail of coupons for the place.

This was a great location for a friendly lunch; comprehensive menu that suited all tastes and excellent service. Waitress could not have been more accommodating. We had starters of Garlic bread, chowder, calamari and salad all of which arrived promptly and together, hot and tasty and probably too plentiful! Across the board range of mains as well from Curry to Bacon & cabbage, Burger to Chicken Maryland - if I had to find a fault there was no room for desserts but we promised we'd be back for them!!

For a lunch if you would like a dessert and they did look good on other tables; I'd skip either a starter or a main!

As a negative the tables are small and tight together but as they are always busy.....
