I had the seafood chowder for entree and the fish and chips for a main. I love my seafood but was keft quite dissapointed. The chowder quality was poor. The fish did not impress.

Fun colorful outside and a warm dark wood inside, with stairs here and there and all sorts of little rooms. Good solid pub fare.

I am not one to give negative reviews if I can help it BUT I was so disappointed with this restaurant I don't know where to start. The food not worth even talking about. The management when we complained were absolutely disgraceful, unprofessional and full of attitude.
Do NOT go to eat here.

Having planned to have a nice lunch in Galway , we had decided on the Quay street kitchen beforehand.Three hours shopping, a lively 4 year old and the need for a pint must have blurred the senses and we ended up in the wrong place..
Used the side entrance and went downstairs, shown to the only free table. Two waitresses and one waiter seemed to be serving us! Noticed from the menu that choice didn't seem no where near as good as expected.....
"were here now so we might as well stay.."
A dozen oysters, and two pints of Guinness ,mushrooms and an apple juice, oyster came, mushrooms came, apple juice came...10 minutes still no Guinness..asked waitress where they were and told the bar was doing them.A few minutes later they arrived obviously freshly poured.Oysters were very nice, and once settled so was Guinness, daughters mushrooms ok. Then ordered two haddock and another pint.Haddock was ok ,had to chase up the Guinness again..
The three staff serving us were all very helpful, but seems to be communication problem with bar.Oysters good, other food basic old style pub fare. Both mushrooms and haddock served with a strange salad, pasta coleslaw mixture...
€69 bill not cheap for pub lunch, but then again Oysters were €23....
Looking forward the Quay street kitchen next time.....
