“The Perfect Stay”
Reviewed May 27, 2012

We arrived really early and were greeted with friendly smiling faces with an offer of tea straight away, our rooms were bright airy and very comfortable, location was very central to Salthill and into Galway city didnt need to take the car out for the whole stay it was great, nothing seemed to be a problem for the owner Marie ,as at a drop of a hat, she organised a trip to the cliffs of Moher with just a call for other guest who were also staying and pick up and drop of was right outside the door of the B&B what a great service to offer!
B&B was busy while we were there which is always a great sign, breakfast was yummie! catering for all tastes and no shortage of seconds if you could fit it in! I would definatley go back again and would reccomend for all age groups!

This is the best B&B I've visited so far. Marie and the staff were wonderful and were really helpful in recommending me to places for traditonal Irish music. Overall excellent!

We stayed in Inishmore House for three nights and the service was exceptional. The rooms were clean, decorative comfortable. The value for money was great and we will definitely be going back when in Galway again.

what a lovely little gem i found on my visit to Galway , perfect for salthill or the city center just 10 minutes walk either way and just 3 minute walk to the beach . On arrival i was greeted by a lovely woman Marie and i could see over my right shoulder a fantastic irish turf fire the smell was a dream ! i was then taken to a beautiful doudle room and let me tell you i slept like a baby to awake to a very tasty choice for breakfast , I went for the full irish which can i just say if they ever open a cafe or restuerant i would eat all my meals there , well one can dream ! Peter , Marie and staff were soo helpful!! the only down point of my stay was having to leave and go home , i'll be back again :)

This was our second stay at Inishmore with Marie and Peter, and we loved it even more this time than the first. This is a true Irish B&B: on arrival, Marie will greet you at the door and, after getting you settled, will join you in the sitting room for hot tea and biscuits and a visit. She is a wealth of information about Galway and will send you to those little local spots you might not otherwise ever know about.
The guesthouse is cosy and quaint and just exactly what we imagined when we came to Ireland the first time. Marie and Peter are both so friendly and warm...like us, you will be sad to leave them.

We have been travelling regularly to Galway since 1995 and have lost count of how many times we have stayed at Inishmore Guesthouse. A trip to Galway with accommodation somewhere else would be unimaginable. Marie and Peter, along with their delightful staff, provide a true home away from home. Individual needs and wishes are happily seen to. No one is more knowledgeable about Galway, Connemara and the Burren than they are and they delight in sharing their knowledge. The house itself is delightfully eccentric and full of charming character.
