Came here twice for dinner while visiting galway, highly recommend the chowder! Service was quick and friendly but didn't feel any pressure to leave the table once we'd finished our meal. Great place to stop in and spend an hour or two.

We wandered in off the street needing food, and was welcomed into this awesome pub! Very big and old-worldy feeling, yet modern! So much to look at, and reading the history of the place gave me goosebumps! The food was great, the wait staff very helpful and friendly.

I would go back again in an instant!

Located in the middle of the pedestrian area of Galway. Stopped in this afternoon for a pint or two. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Prices were average.

We were recommended this place by others. I am not sure what they saw in it. of our 10 days in Ireland we voted this the worst meal and service by far. Some of our group wanted oysters and others calamari this restaurant seemed to fit the bill. However neither were good. The oysters were small and the calamari was over breaded. My salmon was dry. The service was fast( like they wanted us in and out to create more turnover ) and not friendly. We thought it would be a charming irish pub forget it. Don't go.

Ate here when staying in Galway last week.
Wasn't sure what to expect when we went in as Galway was very busy and this was the only place we could get a table. Lovely food which came out very quickly, the portions were very generous and there was a large variety of different dishes on the menu.
Very reasonable prices for town centre location - would eat here again.
