We came here for my daughter's birthday last weekend and the food as well as the service was excellent to say the least. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. It was our third time there and it almost seems to get better with every visit. Safe to say when we're in the area, we'll without a doubt be returning!

When we got there our table was not ready despite having made a reservation. Given that it was only 7 and we were about 10 mins late we thought this poor. We had a living social voucher. We got the voucher as a gift so i'm not aware of what was on site but it did not say on the voucher that there were restrictions on the main course. We were told when we sat down that there were restrictions.
Basically the options were either bruschetta, garlic bread or soup to start and pizza main. You'd need to like bread based dishes!
The salmon bruschetta was basic but fine. The wine with the voucher was very palatable. The pizzas took quite some time to come probably because they seem to be cooked from scratch. I enjoyed mine but my wife gave up trying to cut hers. They should offer to cut the pizza for you. We both had the chocolate cake which is very heavy and dry but if you like rich cake I'd say it would be nice with ice cream. They forgot to bring the second one but did apologise for that. Looking at the prices on the menu I thought it expensive. The decor is nice but we did feel we were in the middle of a thoroughfare. Atmosphere was good though.

We booked a table for 2 for a Friday night using a Living Social voucher we had purchased for a treat. We were met at the door by a pleasant waitress and shown to a table for two in a small section of the restaurant. We were delighted to have this section to ourselves. So far so good.

Had a look around once we were settled and what first looked quaint and cosy now looked a bit grubby and tacky. Our white plasticky tablecloth had stains on it and the floor was dotted with crumbs.

Anyway, the waitress took our order which included two glasses of wine and told us she would bring us some water. I had garlic bread with mozzarella which was delicious, husband had bruschetta with Parma ham and sundried tomatoes, also delicious. Water never showed up so eventually just ordered a sparkling water.

A member of staff (owner/manager) sat down in our section of the restaurant at the table for two opposite us and proceeded to interview/chat loudly with another member of staff who was handing in her notice. Another member of staff (looked like a chef) joined in the chat for awhile.

Main course was pizza, as we were told that's all we could order with our voucher, and we also ordered a side of chips to share. The pizzas were only ok, I certainly wouldn't be rushing back to have them again. The chips frankly were THE most disgusting greasy chips either of us has ever had in our lives but they were piping hot unlike the pizzas which, by the time we got to the last half, were stone cold.

Decided to skip desert - even though its usually my fav part of going out for dinner. Was fed up being forced to the staffing conversation going on opposite us. Ordered a cappuccino & mocha to warm ourselves up after the cold pizza but alas these weren't hot either.

From the time our starters arrived to the time we had finished our pizza the internal staffing conversation was going on at full volume in a very small intimate section of the restaurant at the table opposite us & turned what was supposed to be a romantic meal out & night off from the children into being forced to listen to the internal staffing problems at the restaurant. Paid for our extras & left quickly to soak up some atmosphere before we returned home to pay the babysitter.
