Michael is one of those rare individuals who has everything you would ever want in a tour guide. As a past fisherman and a man who has grown up on the island, he has an outstanding command of folklore and history. From Cromwell's invasion to the sadness of losing family members to the sea, he talked openly and and candidly about the Islands...and you will enjoy the raw beauty and unparalleled challenges of these islands who still speak Gaelic. Even nicer about Michael is he will always patiently provide a bathroom stop if needed and makes every stop a part of history. He even lent me his cell phone to make an emergency phone all when my battery died (well...perhaps not "emergency" as much as coordinating meet up plans with other family members on other tours. If you have only two days, I would recommend costing the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher! Be sure your trip is with Michael!!! He is beyond wonderful!
