If you like things fancy than do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here.
However, if you're on a budget, aren't too bothered and are quite easy going then this is the place.
Location is perfect, right in the middle of everything; the staff and owners are very lovely and helpful, the rooms have everything you might need - comfy beds, tv, tea/coffee, hot shower.
Anyway, if you aren't planning on spending too much time in your room, this is perfect :)

p.s. the rooms could really do with a different shade of paint, less annoying lightning, perhaps a couple of bedside table lamps and more hangers in the wardrobe.

This place is a dump. Dirty, smelled like mold, broken window locks. The location is perfect too bad it's so disgusting.

We were a family of 2 adults and one 7 year old. Paid over 100 euro (150 American) for this place. Horrible deal. Meals not included.

Seems to be party central as we were awoken at 3 am by slamming doors and people yelling. If you're not actually trying to sleep and don't mind loud drunk people waking you up in the middle of the night than this is your place .

Bathroom was dirty with other people's hair. White towels had brown stains on them. I seriously question whether this place was cleaned before we arrived.

On the plus, the location is tops and that's what you're paying for because everything else was subpar.

Stayed in a 3 person room on 2nd floor. No lift which seems to be standard in Europe.

~ The location was perfect.
~ The view from my room was breathtaking!
~ The Service - PJ & Anne... Amazing hosts, Good People... You could definitely feel the love in this place.

No wifi connection on 3rd floor, dirty sheets, no phone, no tiles on bathroom, lost dirty sock and hair pins from previous guest. No lift. Clogged shower drain, bathroom door lock wasn't working.

Very good location, but price isn't worth paying.

We managed to book one of the last affordable rooms in Galway that met our needs for a busy festival weekend. The proprietors were efficient and polite and the room was a good value, but plain.
This is not a cute b&b or the ritz. It is a place to sleep in Galway in a great location. The bars and sights right around the Galway Arms were good to see, especially the pub a few doors down called E Brun.

Having a kettle and tea in the room was a nice touch. But don't expect little soaps, reading lamps, an elevator or excessive hospitality because this is a place to sleep above a bar/restaurant for a reasonable price. I would stay here again if that was what I needed.
