“Safe House for Great Food and Wine in Heart of Galway”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

This is best restaurant in Galway and has a sister restaurant in Barna - O'Grady's on the Pier. If you like to be led then have the house wines and stick with seafood. There is also of course filet beef also on the menu. A safe house for great food.

“Delicious out of the Fray Restaurant!”
Reviewed June 24, 2014

The restaurant is located in an alley. It was recommended by our hotel as a place for fish and chips. Save eating fish and chips for the place on Quay street. This restaurant has far better selections. That said we had the fish and chips because it was our last night in Ireland. They were good but paled when compared with the mussels we had for an appetizer with a curry infused sauce that was amazing. Save room for dessert. We had a caramel cake with ice cream that made me swoon! The presentation was beautiful and food wonderful.
The restaurant had outdoor seating with heaters and blankets if needed. We did not need the blankets but those around us used them.
Another huge plus is that the back alley escaped the college town craziness going on in the main streets.

“Seafood Extraordinaire”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

We had a great meal here. Two great plates of fish and one cold shrimp starter that was fabulous. I would definitely encourage you if you are looking for something besides fish and chips.

“Great Seafood”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

Just off the busy Quay Street, this is a peaceful oasis and more up market than the local competition. Good quality staff, helpful and well trained.
Food is excellent, we were spoilt for choice, my Connemara muscles were terrific.
