“It should have been a wonderful meal!!”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

Please avoid the buffet meal at the Raddison Galway The food provided was the worst I have ever had !!This was once a lovely venue! I was shocked at the appalling food at the self service buffet which many young families had chosen for their first Holy Communicants, it was the worst quality of food ever! particularly the starters which should have included a salad bar with some fresh food instead anaemic strips of cold chicken thrown on some iceberg lettuce, egg salad that was gelatinous, you could not find the egg,the mains consisted of fish that tasted really bad,a vegetarian lasagne with at least two inches of bechamel, pork and chicken dishes served lukewarm, the only saving grace was the roast beef, even the mashed potatoes were lumpy and overdoen almost burnt! no roast potatoes just stringy chips for kids, sausages and gougons looked ok, kids didnt complain, deserts were plastered with chocolate mousse effort and a soogy tipe trifle!!I am only sorry my family paid a high price at 25eu approx per adult , this is rip off Ireland at its best, too bad it should have been a happy event only marred by this inexcusable food, the group sharing the room would have amounted to at least a hundred adults so add up the money wasted on the day!! shame shame on The Radd!! do something fast as the word will spread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Fancy and Filling!”
Reviewed May 8, 2014

We had a 3 course set menu, it was delicious. Food was out very quickly and there was alot on the plate with the sides that came out. I recommend the mint chocolate mousse for dessert!

“Fish food extravaganza”
Reviewed April 14, 2014

If you like fish food this is the place to go. We ate fresh and tasty oysters and hake for our meals. There was other offers but we were glad we chose the pick of the day.

“Good breakfast but dinner service is very slow.”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

Our dinner service was very slow it took 1 hour to have the main course served from ordering even though the place was less than 50% full.
The breakfast was great with lots of choice and very good service.

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

Had lunch here on sunday, the buffet lunch, 5 adults 2 kids 2 babies! We really enjoyed it, service was ok if a bit slow, but the food was really good, delicious flavors, so much for everyone to choose from. We have eaten buffets before in different places and never returned as the quality of the food was crap, but not here, 25pp also..Great selection of desserts and salads, soups, roast beef thick gravy, only thing that we felt was missing was roast potatoes & yorkshire puddings, a few extra trimming would be nice if you are going for a sunday roast. Curry was really tasty, naan bread, different rices! The kids absolutely loved the play room also, will definitely return, room was really hot tho could do with a aircon or even a window open!
