“Great place to stay - met all expectations”
Reviewed May 19, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We stayed in Adelphi House for 25 nights in March - April 2016 to attend our son's wedding. The apartment is a good size and the bedrooms were larger than expected. The kitchen had everything you need for a long or short stay with some handy items left from previous guests. There is a full bathroom upstairs and the smaller bedroom had an ensuite bathroom, a bit quirky that it wasn't the main bedroom that had the ensuite - but our son was happy to have it. There is also a toilet and handbasin on the lower floor.
The parking space was good to have and the whole complex felt very secure, even though there are a lot of doors to open and close on the way in or out.
Location is terrific for Dun Laoghaire with shops within easy walking distance and the DART station less than 10 min walk.
A must is McLoughlins Pub 5 min walk away with great pub food and Guinness and upstairs in Bistro 73 the food is even better and service was excellent. It became our home from home. Also don't forget the market every Sunday in the Peoples Park just down the road.

“Perfect location - nicer than home!”
Reviewed March 11, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

My son was traveling around Europe for a year after school so we decided to meet up with him in Ireland just before Christmas. This apartment was the perfect place - right in center of town, close to a nice big supermarket. Lots of great Christmas shopping with the stores in town - I got some great stuff you'd never find in the states. Just a short walk to the train to Dublin, and just a few minutes to the center of Dublin with all the sights. The apartment had great terraces, included parking for our rental car, and had laundry - which was fantastic! I didn't even want to ask our backpacker when was the last time he did laundry...It was a pleasure waking up every morning watching the sunrise over the water from our living room with a piping hot cup of tea to brace us for a day of sightseeing or shopping - and coming home to this beautifully appointed, modern, comfortable gem. Laura who gave us our keys was wonderful. We'd stay right here if we came back. We were originally planning on staying in Dalkey, but Dun Laoghaire was much more suitable, and we were so close to the train station it was better than staying in Dublin.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay.

Dun Laoghaire is a good base with so many facilities on hand without having to drive. The selection of shops, restaurants and pubs all go towards making it a great holiday destination.

The accommodation and location of the apartment are great. It is hard to get across in the description how good the facilities are, in particular, the terraces and view.

Until next time!

Kind Regards,
Ian

“Delightful apartment in central location”

The apartment is very well presented to a high standard. It is in central Dun Laoghaire but in a quiet location. Great views of Dublin Bay. There are lots of access doors between either the apartment and the street or the car park, hence would be challenging for a party with v young children. The apartment is on two floors and would not suit a disabled visitor

“Spacious comfort in the heart of Dun Laoghaire”
Reviewed November 12, 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We booked this apartment at the very last minute when our original booking fell through. We were grateful that we were allowed to book at such short notice. Right in the heart of Dun Laoghaire, we were close to all the shops, cafes and markets. In a place where parking is tricky it is very useful to have a parking space assigned to the apartment. The accommodation itself cannot be faulted. The open plan living area was a great place to have friends round for dinner and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could want. Both bedrooms were spacious with lovely views and there were more bathrooms than we could make use of! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to the area.

“Fabulous apartment!”
Reviewed September 12, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

This apartment ticks all the boxes. Great location, beautiful and very high spec accommodation, fantastic views, great security.

The apartment is beautiful with balconies front and back. It has all mod cons, parking for a car, close to restaurants, bars, coffee shops and plenty of public transport. There is a bus from the airport which drops off just down the road. We were absolutely over the moon when we walked in, what a find!
