Had late brunch here on a Sunday afternoon in August.

I am still aghast at the levels of service. The most unpleasant and inefficient service i’ve experienced in a long time.
It was like as if our custom was an inconvenience to them.
Despite the restaurant being quiet, we had to continually call them over, not once did they look in our direction or ask if we were OK.
They got so many orders wrong, they didn’t listen to anything we said, and when they did bring food it would be practically thrown on the table.
There was also a big variance in time between mains being served.. that’s the fault of the kitchen though i’d imagine.
Also, the burgers were cremated- again, that’s the fault of the kitchen. The pizzas are good, but not good enough to return again.
We should have sent the burgers back but to be honest, couldn’t face the hassle/scowly faces if we did.

The only one who smiled was a young guy, foreign, friendly smiley face.
The rest of them (all girls, also all foreign) should never, not for one more hour, be working in the service industry.

In this day and age it’s just inexcusable. There are 400,000+ people unemployed in Ireland, and these nasty individuals have jobs in the SERVICE sector?
Serious mismanagement by the owner/managers, and I for one wont be going back.

What a shame. This could be a great restaurant.

We (family of 4) ate dinner here on a Friday night. The menu is interesting and the food (pizza, two meat dishes and a fish dish) was very good although not exceptional. The wine list was interesting and well thought-out with reasonable prices (for Dublin!)
Service was friendly and efficient. Slight dissapointment was the lack of availbility of the fish special - even though it was still shown on the blackboard display as 'Todays Feature'!

All is all - well worth a visit.

A combination of a bistro and a cafe with a nice relaxed feel. Choices over a couple of visits ranged from Pasta, thru Sea Bass, Sirloin and well made and well presented deserts and cakes.
And wifi was fast and efficient.

Dublin is expensive but it is possible to eat out here for €40 with a 1/2 carafe of wine.

I've never written a review before where all we had was COFFEE!!!! When the three of us arrived, there seemed to be a contretemps with the diminutive waiter/manager, wearing jeans and two mature ladies. He was trying to convince them to have lunch instead of the order of a pastry. They were not happy. When he came to serve us and we ordered three coffees, he said he would not make much money out of customers like us!! Nice welcome....I said he shouldn't show such disapointment with our order as there is a huge mark up on coffee. He suggested that we also should have lunch. No thanks.....Service...I dont think so, three three of us left in disgust.

Had Sunday brunch here: waited 50mins to get our food. When it arrived, several items we'd ordered, such as basics like coffee(!), had been forgotten so we had to wait some more. The quality of the full cooked breakfast was good but expensive at 10euro. rest of the food -porridge, french toast -was so-so. I can't understand why the service was inefficient and the food took so long to come out as they were hardly busy. No apologies proffered for the long wait or the mistakes in the order. Very disappointing. I don't think I will bother to return.
