This family home is a short distance from dun laoghaire village and the seaside. It's in a very quiet road, and the bus passes the door to take you into town. We stayed two nights. On the first night, some guests woke us early with their showers - to be expected I suppose in a town with a ferry port and early departures. However, our bed was huge and really comfortable so snoozing was facilitated! The decor is really dated, straight from the 70s but that didn't bother us. The room was an ok size, and really clean. Facilities were all pretty good, although TV reception was a bit patchy. But for 35 euro each per night this is great value. A nice hot shower and a comfy bed, walking distance from the village, with its lovely seaside walks, and public transport - a rare find in this expensive part of dublin. Be warned though, the Full Irish breakfast was really really greasy - we stuck with boiled eggs on toast the second morning and were much happier!!
