Words cannot do justice to the experience and food you get in Rasam.

Has been a while since I went there for 8-9 months or so (more into Italian food these days). It's Rasam always for me. Will go there soon.

Years ago there was an excellent American style place here so when I read a review in the local press about a new Indian I had to try it.
Went there recently and it was really excellent. Now we have to decide which is the best Indian in Dublin , this one or the Michelin starred one in Dundrum shopping centre. Both top notch.

This must be one of Ireland's best kept secrets, although the ever increasing amount of awards and packed evenings, happily suggest that word is spreading. Run in a very hands on fashion by Nisheeth and his dedicated team, this is a restaurant that hits the mark on every level. Rasam is no "curry house", but a restaurant that serves the very highest quality food that is a totally different take on Indian food : Beetroot Chicken, chicken cooked in cinnamon milk and a melting flavoursome lamb signature dish, take Indian cuisine to a totally different level that is rarely offered on this island. The food is carefully prepared and an added benefit is you can purchase the remarkable spices that make the dishes so special. Service is personal, friendly, attentive with the team remembering their regulars and creating an exceptionally warm atmosphere. If you are staying in the Dublin area, this is a restaurant that you should try. Superb.

I loved this restaurant on my first visit ,, but sadly I found that both the levels of service & the quality of the food had dipped on my last visit - staff were rude and forgetful ,,, and the food was forgettable - Ananda in Dundrum is far superior!

Rasam is the more expensive end of Indian dining, but you can see why once you enter the beautifully decorated restaurant and sample their food.

You will not find the "common" favourites like korma and tikka masala on this menu, its a more eclectic mi of flavours from all over India, so be prepared to experiment a little. We all ordered the thali, which gives you a selection of meat curries, and a starter platter sampler, so that we could experience the widest range of flavours, and we were not disappointed.

The kulfi dessert was REAL kulfi, not just ice cream by another name, with cardomom and pistachio flavouring.

For sure we will be back...
