My co-worker who lives in Dublin suggested meeting here for drinks one night and my husband and I enjoyed it so much that we returned two evenings later for dinner. This is a modern place - not a "traditional" Irish pub at all. This is in the Ballsbridge area of Dublin, which is a bit more upscale. It is a large place, but still quiet enough to have easy conversation. Service was excellent - wait staff is attentive but they are not trying to hurry you out the door. You can enjoy drinks with friends or a nice dinner as a couple. As we had spent the entire day traipsing around the city, we were dressed very casually, but were not at all out of place. The food was excellent - Pasta with a veggie and tomato ragu, and a flat-iron steak and veggies - and beautifully presented. After a long day of walking and cool weather, it was heavenly! I believe we spent about 40ish Euro for the two meals, a couple of drinks and a ginger ale.
