“Pleasant Evening”
Reviewed June 20, 2012 via mobile

Second time here in two years. I have no complaints, the food is good with a nice selection of starters, main and deserts.
The staff aer very attentive and give just the right level of service. All in all a very pleasant place for lunch or evening meal.
I would recommend and the prices are fair.

“Skimping on Servings”
Reviewed June 19, 2012

The only reason this gets an average is due to the very small portions we received. More in keeping with a tasting menu than a lunch of two courses. The food was faultless so it was a real shame I left hungry. The lunch menu offers two courses for €17. We had the calamari to start delicious, not over cooked but probably two rings sliced in 4. It should have been described as an amuse buche The main was hake (very small portion) again delicious, really fresh and perfectly cooked (difficult to get fish cooked this well in Ireland). It was served on cannellini beans which were slightly undercooked. Dessert of a chocolate hazenut gateaux again perfect and two excellent double espressos served in cappuccino cups? The white house wine at €21 was excellent and very good value for money. Up the portion size slightly and this would be a real find.

“Enjoyable Meal”

Nice menu selection, both food and wine. Service was prompt and friendly - dessert was slow to appear but all in all a very pleasant experience. Will be back.

“New menu is great and available all night”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

Great atmosphere and now that there is a chefs choice in the evening : two courses for €19.95 you don't have to come before 7pm to get the best value as this runs all night.
Mind you, you do to get special wine prices which run between 5 and 7pm.
There is also a lunch combo for only €10!

“Very nice but overpriced!”

Had brunch here yesterday. The place is lovely, service very nice and the food was good. However it is a treat as it is expensive!
