“Best Indian in Dublin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2014

This is without doubt my favourite spot for Indian food, it never fails to impress. Can't go wrong with the value meal for two, we've tried lots of other dishes too and are never disappointed. The quality of the meat is fantastic, the lamb especially is always melt-in-the-mouth tender. Have eaten in once or twice but the quality is just as good for takeaways (bigger portions too!). Delivery can sometimes take a while, but it's always worth the wait!

“One of my go to spots. ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014 via mobile

I love this place but I generally order take away from here. I'd say I've tried everything on the menu and the butter chicken and the lamb chettinad are personal favorites. The reason for four stars instead of five is that the starters here don't meet the high standard of the mains.

“Great indian Food”

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and the food and service is excellent. The early bird is of great value.

“If the guest is God, I left feeling like one!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2013

With significant other, we have been seeking an Indian restaurant to replace our previous that has since closed. Our needs are very simple, excellent Onion Bhaji's with mint sauce. Chicken Tikka Masala, to the demanding taste of significant other, I'm more adventurous, Plain Naan and Pilau Rice.
Konkan has delivered, in spades, we'll be back.
The restaurant is intimate and was crowded on Saturday night at about 8pm when we breezed in. The poppadom's were fresh and crisp, served with mango chutney and mint sauce. Onion Bhaji starters were crisp, the batter light and fragrant. We had the sauce served which was a kind of balsamic spiced and we also had the mint sauce.
Mains were Chicken Tikka Masala and the Pondicherry Lamb Stew, served with Pilau Rice and Plain Naan. It was washed down with Water and Cobra Beer (for me).
Excellent quality and we left satisfied and will be back!

“Tasty food but misleading menu”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

However we went for a "3 Course" early bird menu. When we asked about the desert menu we were informed that desert was a choice of tea/coffee. A bit dissapointing

Food was very nice though
