Description: Kimchi Hophouse is the only place in Dublin where customers can find authentic Korean food and drinks including Soju and Korean beer. All staff are Korean, including our chefs and owners. Kimchi is a restaurant and Hophouse is an adjacent bar formally called The Shakespeare Bar. We're located in central Dublin city, at the top of O'Connell Street, just around the corner from the historic Gate theatre.

Went there last night with a group of eleven. The service was swift and the staff professional. I had the Sogogi Kimchi which I though was delicious. I had never had Korean before and it was an experience I will not forget. I was very impressed with the food and service here so I will definately be returning.

Kimchi is unassuming but a great place to eat. With the pub next door you can have a few beers whilst you wait for friends to turn up, and it is a great place to eat as a group.

My first experience of Korean food, and a good one. Some of the Sushi dishes they served were unconventional, but very very tasty!

If you want to have a good fun night with friends in Dublin - go to Kimchi, order a few dishes and a few bottles of Soju (a Korean spirit drunk by the shot), and your evening will take care of itself. The little buttons on the table that you press for service are a master stroke.

I only visited Kimchi for the first time for a friends birthday (the area it's in is a bit of a slum and not known for good restaurants) but I went back again two weeks in a row after. Says it all really!

Well worth a visit - a cool restaurant that is off the 'beaten track' of Temple Bar/South William Street/Baggot Street.

During our trip to Ireland we had a very good dinner @ Kimchi. Never ate Korean before, but great food. Great service, keep on the good work.

Really delicious Korean. Their lunchtime menu is great value - everything less than €10 and great quality. The dumplings are lovely as are the kimchi pancakes. The real highlight though is the bipim bap!!
