We just happened upon this place and were pleasantly satisfied. The Irish stew and the fish and chips were delicious. The staff was very friendly. It made a great first impression of Dublin. The bar is uniquely decorated with mosaics and we loved the soup of the day: beer!

The prices were good considering its location.

In Temple Bar, but feels a little bit more grown up. Good DJ on Saturday playing tracks from 1970s-1990s.

Ate here two nights running, menu limited but food was fresh, hot and tasty. The first night I had soup, which was excellent then fish and chips, tasty and fresh. The second night I had chicken goujons with skinny fries, again fresh and tasty. Red wine was fairly expensive at 6€ a glass as was water at 3.50€ but it's central Dublin so to be expected. Staff were polite and pleasant

Stopped there for lunch. Very close to Dublin castle and Temple Bar district. Had fish and chips for 10 euros and a pint of beer for 4 and 5 euros. Food was within our budget. Np problem with staff. This place is on a side street between Dublin castle and the river.

The staff at the Turks Head were very friendly and were happy to chat. Alcoholic Drinks are cheaper than anywhere else in Dublin however soft drinks were a bit more expensive i.e. Red Bull was 6 Euros a can but a pint of beer was 4-5 Euros. They have a happy hour between 5pm-11pm on a Friday and Saturday where beer is 4 euros.
