On the edge of Temple Bar, this place is buzzing at the weekend and gets a lot of 'through' traffic. It's modern and atmospheric with beautiful designs inside. The atmosphere of the place is definitely one of its big attractions - it's dark with beautiful artwork and a modern bar.

Decent (if short) cocktail lists, plenty of lagers and european beers.

One tiny drawback is that not always easy to get served and you get the feeling the bar staff is a bit pressurised at times. There's not much chat from them.

All in all, it has a place in our hearts. Nice place for a pre-dinner drink.

It is part of the paramount hotel and is a very modern bar / nightclub. You need to go inside to see for yourself what this establishment has to offer we had a great time.

What a great little bar. Its décor is brilliant mosaics.
We had some very reasonably priced cocktails in here and enjoyed the music. Unfortunately he staff were not very chatty and didn't share a smile. We still really enjoyed it though.

I have now eaten at the Turks Head three times. The first time was in January 2012 - we got a steak and a burger and were underwhelmed so while we have often enjoyed their drink specials, we didn't go back for food until October, when we went twice. The baked ham and cheese toastie has a thick hand-cut slice of ham and pleased on both occasions. The soup of the day on our second visit was roasted pepper and parmesan, a welcome change from the standard ubiquitous "vegetable" and very nice. The salad with sun-dried tomatoes and pancetta was also a crowd-pleaser. And the banoffie pie was exactly as it should be. The Turks Head pairs good food with great drink prices on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, friendly staff and a quirky decor, and I will be back!

I ate here 2 times for breakfast and the service was quick, and the food cooked very well. The first breakfast there included a fruit and yogurt bar with various juices. The second breakfast only juice was provided.
