you simply must go, never mind its in temple bar and people say there are more real traditional pubs, its a well run, safe, clean Irish bar with great people and great music, enough said!

I guess if you are a visitor to Dublin, you have to visit the Temple Bar area of the city, and of course, the pub of the same name. It's obviously one of the more popular bars on 'the strip', and although we couldn't get near the trio of 2 girls and 1 guy (Dave Browne?) playing on the Friday night we were there, I could see they were a trio on a television monitor. The tables around the band appeared to be occupied by their followers - who had no drinks in front of them! A bit of a struggle to get to the bar, but once there, were 'robbed' quite quickly - Guinness/Murphys €5.95; Bulmers €5.80 - typical Fleet St./Temple Bar prices (bars just off the main drag are cheaper). Having said all that, good craic and I enjoyed the experience. Well worth a visit, if only to say, "Been there, got the 'T' shirt"!

Went to Temple Bar at noon on a Sunday after a big breakfast. We were just stopping in for a pint really. The music was great as was the service, but the drinks were over priced. That being said, it is a tourist area so it's to be expected. Worth a go just for being a great pub experience. The music was stellar!!
