Steps from my hotel and after a week in Dublin, I was craving a pizza so I stumbled in there on a Tuesday night. The place is small and has room for about 15 inside and another 4-6 outside. They serve pizza by the slice and a whole pie. I ordered a salad to start and a margarita pizza. The pie was fresh and quite good....I was pleasantly surprised.

The staff were rude and ridiculously snotty to us when we arrived asking if we had a reservation. It was almost empty at the time. Bottom line on the food my son could not eat his pizza as it was so poor.

This is a very compact restaurant (only seats around 20 people) just off Grafton Street in central Dublin. What it lacks in size it makes up for in food quality. They do excellent Italian food and some of the best Pizzas in Dublin. You can even buy pizza slices to take away. Even though the tables are very close together it somehow feels right. The staff are really nice and are Italian. A good starter for sharing between 2-4 people is the buffalo mozzerella with rocket and ham. Prices are very reasonable and you won;t leave hungry.

We were looking for lunch quite late in the afternoon and just happened to come across this lovely small restaurant at about 4pm. Food was great and tasty, well served at reasonable price for a set menu (with choices) including a glass of wine. Small tables, nice atmosphere. Really glad we found it.

Steps of Rome sells the best pizza slices in Dublin by a mile. Try to Melanzane (Aubergine/Eggplant) and has wonderful salads and coffee.
