The restaurant is upstairs above a good traditional bar serving good ales with lots of choice.
The restaurant is quite small but adds to the charm, recommend booking a table though! We went on a Tuesday night and people who hadn't booked we're being turned away. We had kidneys and salmon to start and both were very nice. We both had the medallions of beef and the meat was excellent.
The wine list needs updating with new stock lines. Although due to the wine of our choice not being available the alternative was just as good and a small discount was a pleasant surprise when receiving the bill. Excellent service on the whole very well done we would go back.
