The restaurant is upstairs above a good traditional bar serving good ales with lots of choice.
The restaurant is quite small but adds to the charm, recommend booking a table though! We went on a Tuesday night and people who hadn't booked we're being turned away. We had kidneys and salmon to start and both were very nice. We both had the medallions of beef and the meat was excellent.
The wine list needs updating with new stock lines. Although due to the wine of our choice not being available the alternative was just as good and a small discount was a pleasant surprise when receiving the bill. Excellent service on the whole very well done we would go back.

Steaks were excellent. If you do not know which part of the cow you like best they come and show you at the table. Expectations were high and met! I could not understand the added value of the fried onion on the side which was a bit tasteless. Deserts are a bit overpriced with just a piece of cake but nice anyway.

Having just arrived this lovely pub was recommended to us by our green bus tour guide, he wasn't wrong ! Staff were friendly, Guinness tasted good. The food was cooked to taste, we had steak sandwich and the meat was fab, pub was clean, highly recommend a stop at this pub as part of your Dublin trip

After wandering around train station looking for somewhere to eat (after missing my train) - I couldn't believe how bad the selection was. I walked across the road to Ryans and could not believe the quality of food they were serving in what looked like a regular pub (from outside). We were under a tight schedule and asked the server if our food could be done/eaten in an hour. I don't know how they did it - but we had the most fantastic meal out in no time. I had sea trout with mango, spinach and sweet potato. It was so divine - and cost less than €16. The Lamb Burger was huge - accompanied by so many side dishes. The chips were something else. Staff were super friendly and efficient. I could happily have stayed her all night!!!!

Doesn't look much from outside - but a little gem awaits inside.
Highly recommended.
