My husband and I saw that they had home-brewed craft beers, and we were instantly interested. We were not disappointed. Their home brews were AMAZING, and they have something for everyone (I recommend the Wrassler 4x--an excellent stout). If you don't happen to like their home brews, don't worry. They have an absolutely MASSIVE selection of quality beers from all over the world, a small handful of which are on their constantly changing tap selection. The bartenders there were helpful, nice, and incredibly fun to talk to. They also helped my husband with some whiskey recommendations. We ended up going back once more in the week we were in Dublin. It was some of the best fun we had.

All the European friends who visit me (and Ireland) ask to go to Temple Bar. The one bar that has been a regular success is the Porterhouse. There is an immense selection of beers to choose from, and great live music. Will definitely keep returning (I still have many beers to taste!) there.

This was the last pub we visited in Dublin as we were recommended it by the tattooist we had been to see earlier in the day. Fiancé was very impressed as he will drink just about anything. He had the house red ale which is said was amazing. I had the orchard thieves cider as I'm a cider freak haha. Would really recommend this place. It's a shame we had to go to the airport otherwise we'd have stayed for one more....or 2 ;)

We visited Dublin in April and we completely fall in love with the town. It has a lot of beautiful things all around, and even if it's big, you don't get that i'm lost feeeling you can have while visiting london or others big and beautiful cities. We knew there was a porterhouse pub so we went to temple bar with the purpose to find it. We were amazed by it amd we had such a great time. Amazing beers, amazing people, amazing food. It's a plave to discover, ot has a lot of nice things to appreciate and understand if you're curious like me :) it has such many different varieties of beers that made it hard to not try them all. The food is delicious and various too, try the porterhouse burger and lose yourself in the extra long beer menu. Since we went there we returned many other nights, to enjoy good food, drink beer while listening to nice live music or simply enjoying the place. I loved it, and I cannot wait to come back there!!! Very extensive beers to choose from. Authentic beers to Ireland. The environment welcoming and the seating choices are plenty. The uppermost level had live music and seemed quite festive. I am glad we experienced the place and if locals recommend, that should be a great endorsement.
