There's only so much Guinness one can drink, so this place really hits the spot! I was very pleased to try their craft brews, made in house. The Porter and Weiss were very good, but the new Belgian Ale really stands out. Having been to Belgium, it could hang with some of the better beers there. For food, we only tried the Irish Lamb Stew, but it was very good, a bit spicy at times, and very tasty.

They have a decent selection of other beers including Hoegaarden, Guinness, and a bunch of bottled selections. We didn't dabble too much into these but the UK triple chocolate was very good. This is a much better place to choose than the typical touristy (expensive and packed) pub.

Stopped in Sweetman's after a day of sight seeing in Dublin, trying to get on local time after arriving early morning from the States. Stooped in by chance, and a lucky chance. The irish stew was excellent.

Was only here for drinks, but staff were very friendly and helpful (even going downstairs for my drink) and fantastic atmosphere. Drinks were also relatively cheap for Dublin and they were generous with their samples. Definitely recommended.

Great food, delicious homebrewed craft beers at reasonable prices!
Working as a tour guide this summer I brought all my students to this place regularly! They love the atmosphere, the great drinks, the delicious food and of course the friendly staff!
No.1 on my list of pubs!

We were directed their by some Trinity College students when we asked where we could get some great, reasonably priced food. They were spot on. Sample trays of 5 microbrews were great. In addition, we got chips, pork belly, and lamb stew for 30 euros. The food and beer were both great. The location is convenient, servers were friendly. I think the only reason this isn't ranked higher is because the total number of reviews is less than some others. I would go here 1000 times more than anything in the Temple Bar area.
