“Very disappointing”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

I'd heard that this place was very good, but my experience was that it was one of the worst Chinese restaurants in Dublin. Perhaps they were having an off day, because everything was less than acceptable except for the service, which was very polite and friendly.

“Great Chinese Restaurant in Dublin”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

We had dinner at Good World Restaurant and the food was authentic and delicious. The restaurant is conveniently located on S. Great Georges Street, just off Dame Street.

We ordered an appetizer of Roast Pork, Roast Duck & Roast Chicken with Marinated Jelly Fish and the meat was flavorful and delicious. For entrees, we ordered a Steamed Sea Bass that was perfectly cooked and simply seasoned with soy and scallions. We also ordered a Beef Chow Fun that was very authentic and delicious.

The service was pleasant and efficient. The prices were a bit high, but the restaurant is conveniently located near Temple Bar. The restaurant is small, but there is another room downstairs for private functions.

“Best Chineses Food in Dublin City”
Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

Came with my parents for dinner, we were promptly given a table, good service and attentive, even the restaurant was busy with people. We ordered the seafood noodle, fried tofu with vege, and pork ribs. I am Chinese, I do come with some expectation. I wasn't disappointed. Definitely will visit again

“Best Ever”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

This is one of the very best Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten in. The spare ribs were the tastiest, saude was delicious and the meat just melted in your mouth. Everything appeared to be fresly cooked and fabulous.

“A find”
Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

We were looking for lunch on a cold and windy day and happened upon The Good World Restaurant. We were in the mood for Chinese food and gave it a try. This was during a cruise port stop. The food, especially the Singapore noodles, was very good. The service was fine and the place was busy. They did not rush us either even with people waiting.
