Description: Situated overlooking Central Bank Square in the heart of Dublin city centre, The Foggy Dew offers a charming blend of old world tradition fused with an appealing contemporary atmosphere. This historical bar is the perfect spot for a quiet afternoon pint or alternatively a great meeting place before heading out on the town. The major strength of the Foggy Dew is that it provides all the best qualities of a local bar coupled with a great city centre location. The cosy size means that you will never lose your friends although if you need to escape for whatever reason there are plenty of corners for you to hide behind!Whether dropping by for a friendly drink, settling in to watch the match or just enjoying the great music from the Foggy Dew DJ or a live band on a Sunday evening, we are sure you will find a warm welcome with great service in a comfortable setting.

“Fine bar, ok staff...”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Popped in here for a drink it's more suited for the younger and big into music. Barman wasn't very friendly he was more interested in getting back to his mates at the bar. Not a friendly pub but it was very clean.

“Fun, friendly, great place to hang out.”
Reviewed December 24, 2012 via mobile

Visited on a Friday night in November, my first time and night in Dublin. I was traveling alone and was a little nervous about going places solo, but the bartender immediately introduced me to 3 people, started a conversation, and spent 3 hours talking. Still friends to this day. It was exactly what I think a good pub should be.

“Poor performance”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

Im on crutches and asked the passing barman if there was a disabled toilet for him to keep walking by saying no and offering no help what so ever. What does it take to get a bit of curteous help in this place???

“Young crowd place”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

A great place to visit if you are near dame street and like a pt and a good atmosphere. The punters are usually on the young side and hip The music station is always on and they show whatever sporting event of the day that are on TV.The bar staff are very efficient and friendly. The only complaint i have about the pub is the price of drink.Having said that it would not stop me from going there .
