“Spacious room and friendly staff”
Reviewed December 1, 2013

The room was spacious enough to host two people staying there, the beds in a twin room have the a bit unusual configuration of a single and a double bed, two identical beds are not available.
The location was central, a small advice would be for hotel staff to correctly identify the two competing airport bus companies (AirLink vs AirCoach), since they have two different stops nearby and we were sent to the wrong one, since the member of staff didn't ask which company we had tickets for. In general the room was tidy and comfortable, the food in the restaurant in the evening was good value for our money.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms not facing the streets, since it can become rather loud on the weekends. The inner cou...

It's one of the best hotels I've ever known ! Nice staff, very good breakfast, the cleanest rooms I've ever seen and good location to go in the City Center (O' Connell Street, Temple Bar …).
There are buses, tramway and a railway station about 15 minutes walk.
Moreover, it's not expensive and that's a really good thing.
I recommend it !

The hotel is well located 5 minutes from O'Connell Street. Rooms are pleasant and comfortable and we got a good night's sleep.

There is plenty of room and the bathroom is spacious and well equipped. It took us a little while to find the kettle and towels tucked away in a cupboard but other than that it was an excellent stay.

Breakfast is very good with cooked and continental options and lattes etc included in the price. As with a lot of hotels in Ireland it is cheaper booked in advance.

The bar is disappointing but other than that this is a good place to stay in Dublin.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel, it is average to good for a European hotel. The area isn't the best but I didn't feel like I was in any danger. There's some good quiet pubs about 1 block away in all directions. Transportation is close by; including the hop on hop off stop and the regular city bus stop. The staff wasn't very friendly but they did their job well enough. They did store our luggage for us for the day we checked out. The only downside was that the breakfast stinks up the whole lobby and the wifi is spotty.

As I was in Dublin for a early meeting I stayed in this hotel as it was very central to the city centre. the staff were very nice and helpful. The bedrooms were very spacious and clean !! Clean but basic . The rooms have a iron and ironing board which is very handy .the bar menu is excellent for food if you do not want to leave the hotel . The breakfast is also very good I would definitely stay in this hotel again

My friend (and bridesmaid) booked 15 of us into the Maldron for my Hen weekend in the middle of October 2013. We all thought it was great!. The rooms were spacious (we were in 5 triples) and clean. The breakfast was delicious and varied and the staff we very helpful, ordering us several taxis and advising us on places to go.
It was very reasonable priced and we found the location easy to access from the train station and from main shopping areas. Taxi rides across the river were also reasonable, I think it was 20 euro for an 8 seater??
I would highly recommend!!
