Nice clean hotel, not in the best part of town to be honest, although it is within walking distance of the city centre. Had a problem with the first rom we checked into as although it was a non-smoking room, the room did have a strong smell of smoke - this was quickly sorted and we were allocated another room with no issues. We were able to check-in as soon as we arrived (1030hrs) which was a bonus. Breakfast was ok with the usual choice, pastries, cereals, toast and a cooked selection. Wi-fi is only available in the reception area and you have to get a little ticket from reception staff, please don't rely on the wi-fi as sometimes we couldn't even get it in reception ! The hotel does have some very comfy beds and due to it's location there is no trouble with noise.

Room Tip: There are a few smoking rooms on the 1st floor, but the smell seems to get into all of the rooms on the floor

after much research we chose this hotel for various reasons and they satisfied us on all of them. Near the airport coach shuttle stops, walking distance (for us) of Dublin attractions, excellent inclusive breakfast, modern hotel and within our budget. The room was clean and smart although not that big. My only issue was with noisy guests arriving back after midnight which disturbed my sleep although not the hotel's fault obviously! We had a room out the back so minimal street noise. Staff were very helpful and no issues with service.

Room Tip: The hotel is on the corner of 2 fairly busy roads so go for a room out the back if possible

My wife & I stayed here recently and were very pleasantly surprised!
We booked in advance and got a great price for bed & breakfast (the winter special)
Given the price we paid – the hotel, location, service and food hugely surpassed our expectations!
A two minute walk from the hotel and you’re in O’Connel Street (city centre – Dublin)

We received great service even before we arrived with a welcome phone call the day before checking our needs.
On the morning of arrival, I enquired about car parking and a space was reserved for my arrival.
I found the Hotel to be spotlessly clean & modern with everything I needed.

The staff were very attentive and the check in & check out was also very efficient.

We would have no hesitation in going back there and we have recommended the hotel to our family & friends (some have already booked to stay there).

Outstanding & convenient!

The room is lovely and we feel a warm welcome from the Hotel staff. The other good thing is we had an evening flight, and we can leave our luggage at the Hotel even after checking out. I will definately come back to this hotel as it has excellent service.

I love the Maldron. It is just the perfect distance from Dublin's best attractions and nightlife. A quick walk down O'Connell Street and over O'Connell Street bridge and you are in the heart of beautiful Dublin city. Location, location, location!
Very clean and modern hotel. Staff friendly. Wifi in the lobby area and wired in room. Excellently price.
Checked in early, which was a bonus. The room was very roomy, plenty of space for you luggage..
Would recommend to book to this hotel. Great.
