Our second stay and we will be back. Very clean hotel with such a helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is quiet in spite of situated in the center of Dublin. Short walks to every thing: Shopping, theatre, parks, restaurants etc.

The food in the hotel restaurant is not expensive at all, and so good with a great service. Had breakfast in the room and it was ok - could be a bit better as we did not get what was ordered two times. Cheese and ham was a bit dry as were the tomatoes. But it was delivered promptly.

The room was very clean, the bed was large and good to sleep in. Good WiFi and great bathroom with rainfall shower.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high level - much more bright than the lowest floors. Food in restaurant is real...

Radisson Blu Royal Hotel is a business hotel, and an excellent one at that! Generously sized rooms with large bed, work space, excellent WiFi and an AMAZING rainfall shower!

Front Desk staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and breakfast was up to the usual high standard of Radisson hotels around Ireland.

From a leisure perspective this hotel is still excellent, particularly in terms of location, however after returning very damp and tired from the recent Bruce Springsteen concert, the closing of the hotel Bar at 1am (we only arrived back to the hotel at about 12.30am) was a little early! Also there is no Gym onsite - and with the exception of the truly dedicated (or crazy) who will go off premises to get their gym on?!

All in all though a great product in a great location!

Just returned from a weekend in Dublin staying at the Radisson Blu. Really pleased with our choice of hotel - room was really lovely, modern and clean and the bathroom was really great - one of the best i've seen for a hotel at this price etc. Our room was really quiet - we heard no "hotel" noise at all and though we think it was fairly busy, it never felt it - always nice and chilled. Really good location for us, we walked everywhere and nowhere was too far but we were slightly out of the main hub which made it lovely and peaceful. Certainly recommend.

Room Tip: We overlooked the hotel terrace and it was very peaceful (3rd floor).

After an exhausting trip we decided to return to Dublin a day early to try to get some rest before our flight out and this hotel was perfect. We had stayed at another Dublin hotel on the beginning of our trip and this had that one beat! The hotel staff could not have been any more accommodating. The rooms are very, very comfortable. It is a modern property but that was refreshing. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for!

Check in was a little difficult as we requested adjoining rooms but that request was not attended to. We had to wait about 20 mins for reception to try and locate suitable rooms.
The rooms were very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and user friendly. Probably the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in in a hotel. The beds were twin beds joined to make a double bed - a little odd and may be strange for some couples.
The hotel was quiet and the location was perfect. Close enough to Grafton street, restaurants, shopping etc. but far enough so that you can enjoy a quiet nights' rest.
The breakfast is excellent. Elegant restaurant. Great baked goods.
Spotlessly clean. Free Wifi. Lap top safe.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu Royal at the end of July for a wedding. The wedding was held in the Sky Suite, which was a very nice venue with city views.
The food available for complimentary breakfast is average. The Resident's Bar is a nice spot to grab a quick drink and bite to eat, but it is overpriced (10 Euro for a 4 oz White Russian??). Also, on one occassion, we stopped in the bar for a drink and pizza around 01:00, and the bartender refused to serve me, stating that he was not accepting cash or credit for purchases at that time. I asked to charge the bill to my room and he insisted that I could not do so because the room was in the name of a male, and I was obviously a female, so I must be lying to him about the fact that I was staying at the hotel. After complaining, the manager resolved the problem (apparently the reservation said "Mr" instead of "Ms") and the bartender apologized, but I was already annoyed and it was too little too late.
The location is convenient for walking to many locations, including Temple Bar, Grafton St and the Guinness Factory among others. It is also a short distance to the hop on/hop off tour which will take you around Dublin.
The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms nice with both a shower and bathtub. I did find the beds to be uncomfortable, though that's a matter of preference. Our room had a nice view of the terrace below.
