Baggot Court Townhouse

I spent here a long weekend with my boyfriend at the beginning of March and we were both happy with our choice! The hotel was clean and cozy and the staff members were extremely welcoming and helpful. Our room wasn't huge, but met our needs. The bathroom, modern and spotless, had a nice big shower. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from St. Stephen Green Park, but if you don't feel like walking there's a bus stop a hundred metres away from the hotel's front door. Breakfast was lovely, every morning you can chose between continental and full Irish breakfast. The hotel gained one more point with the list of pubs and restaurants worth a visit that we found in our room. Also, on our last day, after checking out, the staff held our luggage till the afternoon, wich was very much appreciated and let us walk around Dublin for a few more hours!
I would say that the only cons were the dimensions of our bed, slightly smaller than a standard double bed -so mind it if you are a tall person- and the very high temperature of our room. We turned off the heaters and the problem was gone!
All considered I would definetly recommend this hotel!

What a great place. The beds are comfortable, the room was clean, the atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly. To top it off the location cannot be beat. Close to city center but far enough away that you do not feel crowded. We will be staying here again on our next visit.

We stayed here for the beginning and ending weekends of our Ireland trip. Our first room was on the front part of the hotel...Small but quiet. The next weekend we were in the "mews"...larger room and bathroom. Both rooms very clean and comfortable. We arrived early both weekends and the staff took our luggage, held it and then placed it in our rooms. We had requested first or second floor access and our requests met. Good breakfasts.

I booked this room last minute. Room is good. Not massive, but big enough. Had modern furniture, nice fittings, big flat screen TV. Everything was clean. Staff friendly.
Little bit of noise leak from other rooms. Didn't bother me.

10 -15 minute walk to the city centre. Tesco 5 mins walk, and a few nice restaurants within 5 mins.

Recommended. I think its cheapest to book via their website. Think I paid slightly more trough late rooms.

The price was really good and the location was within 15 minutes walk to Grafton. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite nice. Also there were several good options for food and drink along this street. The area seemed to be quite safe as there were people milling about at all hours. In fact there was one enthusiastic chap just outside our window at 3 am. Breakfast was decent, but there are better options available down the road. My main concern was the size of the room as it was a bit small for us. It became difficult to move about. Moreover, the bed was a full and it was rather cozy for both of us. Several buses service this b&b and it is quite close to several attractions such as the museums and the national gallery.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing the street. Have breakfast elsewhere.

Just returned from Dublin last night. Great trip and would highly recommend visiting this city if you've never been.

Baggot Court Townhouse was a class act to be fair,. Seriously good location - no more than 5mins to lots of gud old fashioned irish boozers on baggot st/merrion row, and 10mins from grafton st and temple bar.

Not only this but the price was very reasonable compared to most places in dublin, and that was booked last minute as well.

Breakfast included in the price too.

Would definately return to this city and hotel one day!

We stayed for two nights at the Baggot Court Townhouse and enjoyed our stay. I had indicated on my booking that I required a car parking space and when I called the hotel on the morning of my departure they assured me a space would be available. This is important if you wish to park in the hotel car park as it only holds about 5 cars. The entrance into the car park is very tight for space so be careful. I got a scratch on my bumper driving in at night time.
After parking, we were given a quiet room, as requested, in a new building at the back of the main Georgian building. The room was on the third floor and there was no elevator, but this was not a problem for us. The room was of a reasonable size, was clean and equiped with tea/coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm with a thermostat on the radiator. The en-suite was clean, a good size with a large shower.
The hotel has free wifi. We didnt have breakfast (8euro per person).
The hotel is a short walk to the pubs and restaurants on Baggot street and St. Stephans Green. The shopping on Grafton street is also only a short walk away.
Overall we were very happy with the value, the location and the facilities at the Baggot Court townhouse.
