Owner description: Come visit us in our own home at The Lansdowne Hotel, a beautiful 18th century town house in Dublin and experience the very best of Irish music, dancing and fine food! The Irish House Party combines all the singing and dancing of a traditional Irish house party with a Dinner and Theatre experience. House guests are entertained by All Ireland Champion musicians and dancers but also learn about Irish music, dance and culture in a fun way. First our guests enjoy a delicious three course dinner in The Irish House Party Pub. Our restaurant offers Irish home style cooking with big flavoured traditional dishes. There is a full bar available selling a wide range of beverages. We also have an extensive wine list. After your dinner the host brings you into the parlor room for The Irish House Party show. Our venue creates an intimate and personal atmosphere where guests can meet and talk with the musicians and maybe even perform something themselves! A reservation is required for our show and private group bookings can be arranged for any day and time convenient to your group.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and booked for dinner and show. Food was tasty and music and dance were entertaining. Our female performer was truly outstanding. She demonstrated her skills at dancing as well as performing with violin and harp.

A great way to expose your children to traditional Irish music and dance, without exposing them to the pub scene.

With this venue, you first enjoy a dinner. There were three choices appetizer, main course, and dessert. We were seated with 3 pairs of women in their 30's who we didn't know, and who didn't know each other until this night. It was fun to trade stories from our travels, etc.. I thoroughly enjoyed being paired with strangers.

After dinner, we were directed across the street for the 'show'. There was ample seating. You can carry your drinks across the street, and even go back to buy another one during the show.

The music was very enjoyable. The hosts were fun, and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. Even my 10 yr old boy was engaged and tapping his feet to the songs. :)

Dinner lasted 1-1.5 hours. The show lasted 1-1.5 hours

There werr eighty of us with Collette Vacations who had a meal and thrn adjuurned across the street for an entertaimkng evening. The menu was limited but thr choices satisfied everyones taste. I had Soup (Dublin Doodle) , Salmon and Irish Coffee Ice Cream. It was served hot and was quite delious. Yes the ice crezn was cold.

We then walled across the street for a great Irish song fest. There was lively music with singing and a delightful Irish Dancer. Book it.

We had booked this for our first night i Dublin. We had big expectations and they were all met big time. First we had a three course meal. We got two to four options for both starters, main course and dessert. I had an Irish soup for startes, chicken wrapped in bacon as the main course, and chocolate cake for dessert. The food was just wonderful and really tasty. After the dinner we were escorted to the other side of the street to a little old theater. Here we were given an intimate and great show from five incredibly gifted musicians and dancers. They taught us about the main instrumets in Irish music and also the diffrences between some of the traditionally Irish dances. They were all so welcoming and nice as well as really great musicians. A night to remember! I would recomment to do both dinner and show.
