After struggling to decide which one of the numerours Irish parties in the city to go in our weekend break, we picked this one due the high positive rate from people that had experienced it.
We did not regret. The show was spectacular and the musicians were fantastic. Great fun. It is definitely not the kind of pub environment. It is more intimist and show-stage-like which suited us better. There were great empathy between musicians and audience as they interacted all the time with us telling stories, sometimes asking people to join and dance if they wish, and a bit of cultural curiosities about Irish folklore and traditional musical legacy.
The downside in my opinion is the high combo price food+show if you want to have dinner there as well. 45£ for show+food is a bit "salty" to have the kind of wholesome, traditional food they proposed to serve which is not our favourite. So, I cannot rate the food, as we got the ticket to see the show only. The price for the show (25£)is good value for money though.
