“Very good music. Great fun!!”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

After struggling to decide which one of the numerours Irish parties in the city to go in our weekend break, we picked this one due the high positive rate from people that had experienced it.

We did not regret. The show was spectacular and the musicians were fantastic. Great fun. It is definitely not the kind of pub environment. It is more intimist and show-stage-like which suited us better. There were great empathy between musicians and audience as they interacted all the time with us telling stories, sometimes asking people to join and dance if they wish, and a bit of cultural curiosities about Irish folklore and traditional musical legacy.

The downside in my opinion is the high combo price food+show if you want to have dinner there as well. 45£ for show+food is a bit "salty" to have the kind of wholesome, traditional food they proposed to serve which is not our favourite. So, I cannot rate the food, as we got the ticket to see the show only. The price for the show (25£)is good value for money though.

“This is a MUST DO while in Dublin!”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

We were a party of 12 (8 adults and 4 kids under the age of 8) and everyone had a great time. The dinner was very good and they provided chicken nuggets and French fries for the kids. The wait staff was very fast and attentive. After dinner we walked across the street for the show at a local theater and if was an hour and a half of fun, music and laughs. The band was very interactive with the crowd. All 12 of us had a great evening and we would certainly recommend this to anyone.

“Great Irish night...”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

Great Irish food to start the night a 3 course meal which definatley warmed you up on a cold feb night (this is optionable you can just pay for the show), if you have a big appetite you will not be disapointed, friendly staff and good service great value for money.
Then after your meal you walk across the road to a small theatre were you then are taken into the auditorian, the irish house party perform some good old irish songs, one of the ladies entertains you with her fabulous irish dancing,
It was a lovely evening and my husband and i wanted an "Irish night" and we think we got it! great night and the performers are very musically talented, i am still singing "cockles and mussels" 7days later!
great night worth going too!

“2nd visit to Irish house party”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

As the venue had changed from our first visit it was still very good however I felt the atmosphere was not the same .. We had Christmas dinner which was a little rushed then had to move across the road to the theatre for the show .. The show was fantastic and fun though it didn't have the same friendliness and personal vibe as the former venue when the show was over we went back across the road to the bar downstairs from where we had first eaten saying that it was a great night and I would go back again and recommend it .
